Work produced by a team linked to Inagemp is awarded in Spain

A research team linked to Inagemp (National Institute on Population Medical Genetics) was again awarded at an international event. In Zaragoza, Spain, during the European Working Group on Gaucher Meeting held from June 30th to July 2sd, researchers supported by INAGEMP receivethe“Best Poster prize with the work“Screening of deletions/duplicatons in the GBA1 gene using Multiplex Ligation – Dependent Probe Amplification Method in Gaucher patients”.
The authors of the award-winning work are: Marina Siebert (Researcher at Molecular and Protein Analysis Unit, Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, HCPA); Dr. Filippo Vairo (MD at Medical Genetics Service, HCPA) and Suelen Basgalupp (Post-graduate Program in Medicine: Medical Sciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS).
The work was developed in the lab facility “BRAIN” at Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre under the supervision of Dr. Ida Vanessa Doederlein Schwartz.
